Coming Soon! 2016 Buick Cascada Convertible
A stylish Buick convertible not for your grandparents.

Buick has been on a roll the past few years launching cars that appeal to buyers not old enough for Medicare, and the 2016 Cascada convertible looks to help them even more.
The Cascada is important for Buick because it’s been 25 years since they had a convertible on showroom floors. This drop top isn’t a brand new car but a rebadged version of GM’s German Opel Cascada. Is that a bad thing? Actually, no. The Cascada is a stylish convertible that combines German engineering with American…Buick badges.
If you don’t like the trend of having a touch screen for every function of your car, you will be thrilled with the Buick’s interior. Buick festooned the center console with buttons since touch screens don’t scream luxury as buttons do. One of the hundreds of buttons allows the privileged driver to open the soft-top in 17 seconds at speeds up to 31 mph.
Under the hood resides a turbocharged 1.6-liter four cylinder engine producing 200-hp and 206 lb-ft of torque. Since the Cascada is more about cruising around then being thrashed while driving to dinner, the only transmission option is a six-speed automatic.
The good thing for Buick is there really isn’t any competition (at the moment) for the Cascada, so people looking for a soft-top convertible made by Germans and branded as American have really only one option. Look for the 2016 Buick Cascada to go on sale in early 2016 priced at some dollars.
