2017 Honda Ridgeline
The pickup for non-pickup people
By: Anthony Fongaro | January 2016
Take a Honda Pilot, chop off part of the rear- end, and insert a truck bed. What do you get? The new Honda Ridgeline! Although this isn’t the first Ridgeline, the 2017 Ridgeline looks more like a pickup then the first Ridgeline.
Since this is basically a Honda crossover turned into a pickup, the Ridgeline is front-wheel-drive and powered by a 3.5-liter V6. No figures have been disclosed at this time (because…why?) but we think the engine will make around 280 hp. All-wheel-drive will be an option.
The good thing about the Ridgeline is it’s unapologetic about being a pickup for non-pickup owners. It has the design and quality of a Honda but with a trick tailgate that swings either out to the side or down.
Look for the 2017 Honda Ridgeline in the next few months.
